BSM - A Day at the Fair
I didnt know how easy it was going to be getting Keith to go to the Fair. He and Ella awoke around 630am and headed downstairs to play. I woke up around 830am and went to get something to drink. After Keith saw me awake, I decided to go lay down in bed again and watch some TV. Since Ella wasnt aware that I was awake, I could be all by myself. Alone. Quiet. Waking at my own pace. The day always goes so much better.
Once I decided to show my face, I played with Ella for a bit then sat down with Keith to read the Sunday paper. When I opened it, I remembered that the State Fair had started last week. Amazingly, it only took me 3 tries of asking "Wanna go to the fair today?" and about 15 minutes to very slyishly get Keith off of the computer and into the shower to head to the FAIR within the hour! "Lets go for Ella." I think that was the one that got him. :0)
Although it was very busy and the crowds were horrible just walking down the street, the lines for rides and food did not seem that bad. As long as we remembered we were in no rush and had all day to be there, we all stayed pretty happy. By the end of the day, we agreed that I could not ask him to go again for atleast another 5 years, but if Ella were to ask him to take her, all bets were off!!

The Dance of Life
This orange dress. You will see more of this orange dress soon. I could not stop shooting her in it. I loved that she put her rain boots on with her cute little summer dress and she danced her heart out.
We have been outside a whole lot lately. When we were in Florida last week it was so miserably humid and hot that being outside wasn't too enjoyable. So since we came home we have been mostly outside enjoying the warm sun, no humidity and mild breezes. Keith also set up the hose so that it sprays a light mist hanging from the tree in the front yard. Its a wonderful thing to cool off in.
Life doesn't get any better than this.....

Breakfast Creation
Long time, no blog. It feels like I have only picked up my camera a handful of times in the last few weeks too...but ask me what I've been up to and I honestly don't even remember. Seriously, not much.
We are heading to Florida on Saturday for the week. I am really looking forward to being with my family and being there for my grandmother's 80th birthday. I send her pictures a few times a year and we were able to get down to Florida last year, which was wonderful. She and Ella both talk alot. They get along great! :0)
Life is full of it with a 4 year old. I inconveniently forget that she knows everything. Jeez how life would be so much easier if I would just get that through my scull. But my goodness, do I love that little brain of hers.
The night before....
Ella: "Mommy, maybe when we get up in the morning I can make my Ella's Special Creation for breakfast?"
Me: "What is that?"
Ella: "It is 5 jellybeans, 2 M&M's and a pancake all mixed together. And then maybe you can help me cook it in the oven because it would be too hot for me to do."
Me: "Sounds good. Remind me in the morning and we will do that.
The next morning....
She got her 5 jellybeans (ate about 10 more in the process) and 2 M&M's. I made a pancake for her and she mixed it all together with some syrup.
She was hesitant. She checked it out for a bit because the jellybeans and M&M's were all melted.
Ella: "I don't really like the jellybeans anymore."
Me: "Maybe next time we should put more M&M's in and less jellybeans."
Ella: "Ya. Maybe next time we shouldn't add any jellybeans or pancakes. Just M&M's and syrup. That would be good."
