Beautiful...
I am saving up for a Nikon and cant' wait till I get it.
I love how her hair catches the light in these photos! Beautiful.
They don't look grainy at all to me. Did you use noiseware? I have done the same thing. So I know how you feel. These photos are beautiful. I am with Kimberly I love how the sun is catching her hair.
Beautiful!! What is ISO?
As always Joanna - you capture Ella's most sweet and pure moments of childhood. Love it!
Oooh, I have been there done that with the ISO, so I know it sucks! But seriously, I wouldn't have guessed. These are gorgeous and you dealt with the grain very well. Love the sunlight in her hair. Such a sweet childhood moment. Does Ella like the camera, or so you have to sneak every shot?
These are so cute.... and I hate it when I take a ton of great pics... then to realize the ISO is way up when it doesn't need to be!!! We did that just the other day, dang it. These turned out great though!

Oh she is so pretty, what great photos! Grainy? What grain? Are you serious? Little secret - the first photo in Harrison's Rottin'-tootin' storyboard was taken in 1600 ISO with manual setting from the night before. Oops. And that's why I love the RAW image format.
Great series of pics with great lighting, nicely done!
I don't see any grain! Just a beautiful little girl having some innocent fun!
Those a great shots!
I agree I looked for grainy-but it is always easier to see your own faults.
But I do hate finding a Really High ISO after I have taken a lot of pictures.
Beautiful!! I love the light in her hair and each photo was better than the one it followed!! =) The ISO is a bummer, but these are beautiful anyway!!
Oh, I have done that before LOL! You can't tell though, so you don't have to worry about messing up those great photos of her. So lovely she is, and obviously having a GREAT time! :)
they are amazing. high ISO or not...she is quite possibly one of the most photogenic children. ever.
great work.
These are gorgeous, Joanna! I don't see the grain at all! I've definitely done that before tho and kicked myself! I've heard that as long as you're exposure is spot on, the d80 can handle high ISO pretty well and I think you've proven that perfectly here!!
These are absolutely gorgeous! Definitely ones to treasure!
