Labor Day Weekend
We had such a nice time up north at my in laws cabin. The weather was wonderful, we celebrated Karen's birthday, one of my 3 sister in laws, and the kids had a ball together. A big thing for the kids was the trampoline. It seemed like they couldnt get enough of it. We ate so much last weekend that I can literally feel my body expanding. Isnt that what vacations are for?
Crystal, Morgan and I (my other 2 sister in laws) took Jack and Ella into town to go to the grocery store. Crystal wanted to get Karen and ice cream cake at Dairy Queen for her birthday. So when we stopped, of course we all got little treats for ourselves. I was so full that I told myself I wouldnt need to eat any of the cake that night because I had had enough ice cream. Well, wouldnt you know....Dinner comes around (which would be 2 fried turkeys and pot luck dishes from all the people that were up there, um ya...we know how to eat), and then the cake came out and I couldnt resist! Horrible...But so yummy! :)
Ella was so fascinated when Karen was painting her finger nails. I had painted Ella's before we left and her and Karen decided that they would match. She was all over it! She loves her Aunty's so much. We are lucky to have them!
Everett is just over a year old and he LOVED the trampoline just as much as the big kids. He squeeled with laughter when the kids jumped and made him bounce in the air.
I could not believe this last picture when I looked at it on the computer. I could not stop laughing. This was Brooklyn, one of the other little kids that was up there. Her and Ella played really well together. If we only had a trampoline at home!

Looks like such a fun weekend! I am jealous of your scenery around there and the fact that you can actually hang out outside!!! We have a month or so before that is regular for us around here...although today was like 75 degrees and perfect for a change! I guess we will be trading places when winter hits!

That last picture is hilarious. I love how you got Ella in the air. I am really digging the picture with the ice pops and the kids sitting on the steps of the camper. It is perfect!!! I am with you...I think I gained 5 lbs this weekend.

Oh, that looks like a great end of summer! The kids definitely look like they enjoyed the trampoline. I love that first picture of Ella - it's such a pretty shot of her. :)
What a perfect weekend...sounds awesome to me. Good company, good food, what more can you ask for?
