Ode To the Trampoline

We had so much fun on the trampoline last weekend at the cabin. I just love to see my little munchkin jumping up in the air and having fun. Its sort of bittersweet. It shows me that some of the fear of being a little girl has gone away, because she is a very cautious child, yet she laughs with no end and it is the kind of gleeful laugh that warms my heart. You cant help but smile when you watch the kids feeling so free up in the air.

We are off to the cabin again this afternoon for the weekend. One of the neighbors up there, who is good friends with my father in law needs his cabin roofed so all the guys are getting together for that. I figured I may as well take Ella up there instead of us bonking heads all weekend at home by ourselves. It is supposed to be cooler this weekend...60's - 70's, I am actually looking forward to sitting out by the fire drinking some hot chocolate on those cool nights!

See ya in a few days!

Sounds wonderful. You got some great shots. The last one is my favorite though.

Great jumping shots! She looks like she was having a super fun time...I love her facial expressions. :) Hope you had fun up at the lake, and that they didn't put you to work, too. ;)

I have conflicting feelings about trampolines...my Mom is deathly afraid of them (as a nurse, she said she saw more injuries related to them than anything else) and I can't help but feel a bit of that, too...but they are SO MUCH FUN! And the joy in Ella's face...nothing beats that.

That sounds like the perfect lake trip.
